E-Passport Application
1. Thai Electronic Passport (E-Passport)
- Make an appointment via 24 hours online booking (click here) or by calling at 020-7589-2944 ext 5500 on working days from 14.00 to 17.00 hrs.
- For applicant who are under 20 years old, both of parents are required to accompany to the applicant to the Embassy.
- You are advised not to book your travels before receiving the passport.We cannot except any responsibility for cancellations.The current processing time for a Thai passport is between 6-8 weeks.
- FEE 25.00 GBP (CASH ONLY)
- For Thai national must bring his/her Thai Identity card to submit the passport application.
- The applicant should always bring original identical paper works; Passport and officail photo ID to contact the Embassy.

3.1 For applicant over 20 years old
- Current passport
- A photocopy of Thai House Registration or Thai Identity Card bearing 13-digit number
3.2 For applicants who are under 20 years old and his or her parents have married
- Current passport
- A photocopy of Thai House Registration or Thai Identity Card bearing 13-digit number
- A photocopy of Thai Birth Certificate
- A photocopy of Parents' Marriage Certificate
- A photocopy of Parents’ Valid Passports
- A photocopy of Parents’ Thai House Registration or Parents’ Thai Identity Cards
3.3 For applicants who are under 20 years old and his or her parents haven't married
- Current passport
- A photocopy of Thai House Registration or Thai Identity Card bearing 13-digit number
- A photocopy of Thai Birth Certificate
- A photocopy of Child Custody Document
- A photocopy of Parents’ Valid Passports
- A photocopy of Parents’ Thai House Registration or Parents’ Thai Identity Cards
3.4 For applicants who are under 20 years old and his or her parents have been divorced
- Current passport
- A photocopy of Thai House Registration or Thai Identity Card bearing 13-digit number
- A photocopy of Thai Birth Certificate
- A photocopy of Divorce Certificate
- A photocopy of Child Custody Document
- A photocopy of Parents’ Valid Passports
- A photocopy of Parents’ Thai House Registration or Parents’ Thai Identity Cards
Remarks:
The Royal Thai Embassy in London will issue a passport containing the forename and surname of the applicant in accordance with the personal data in House Registration Document ONLY.
If the applicant has changed or wishes to change his/her surname after marriage or divorce, the applicant is required to bring evidence of marriage or divorce in order to apply for an amendment of his/her personal data at the District Registration Office in THAILAND prior to applying for a new Electronic Passport in London.
E-Passport applicants must apply in person at the Consular Section, the Royal Thai Embassy, London.
